A soccer ball in a table tennis ball

The Hévéa team, based in Lyon and Grenoble, in which Boris Thibert is taking part, have produced the first images of a paradoxal object: a « reduced sphere », i.e. a large radius sphere embedded in a much smaller one wihout distance changes.
